They are pumping his opinion up like 98% of the world agrees with him. They are actively selling the exact opposite of what people feel.

I don't know if everyone is seeing how incredibly important this is. The media is actively distorting the reality of what if happening by casting a wall street insider as the spokesman for the masses.

MSBNC needs to stop. Where the **** are Keith and Rachel?

15. When C_SPAN becomes part of the echo chamber, someone very high up is
executing a strategy. We have got to organize to defeat these vermin.

3. He Works For GE...What Did You Expect?
Now if this blowhard had spewed this crap on Faux, he'd be on Olbermann's "Worst Persons", but since it was over the networks of General Electric, it was "news"...kinda like a "You Tube" moment. And it's a pile of shit...but it sure made good teevee.

The media can't distort the reality of a person losing a job or a home or seeing others suffer. Most of us know someone who is faced with a dire financial situation and this asshat just pisses us off. He's no hero, he's a selfish, arrogant ass clown who just showed the world how insensitive and arrogant the rich are. If anything he'll become the poster boy for the abuses of the financial world. The scene of the trading floor behind him just pisses people off more.
Hey! Did you hear: GE got BIG $$$ from your president and congress to develop so-called green technologies that nobody wants to invest in with private capital.

4. Let me get this straight............Santelli is standing on the TRADING FLOOR and
bitchin' about bailouts? I'm no economist, but I equate trading floor with Wall Street, and I equate Wall Street with bailouts.

But that's just me.
It's not just you, there are lots of idiots at DU.

Maybe--just MAYBE--if Wall Street (actually it was Chicago, you mouth-breather) doesn't want our money we should not have passed this boon-doggle because they figure as bad as things are now your oligarchs in DC will only make it worse. Be that as it may, it isn't Wall Street that's getting the money; it's democrats and their pet projects.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Stuck on page one in "Economics for Dummies".

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Reality to primitives:  It doesn't matter if the majority didn't agree with him, which I believe they do, or at least at some point they will.  The point is the business class and the investor class do agree right now, at this moment in time, and they're the one's who control all the private capital.  You're liberals, you don't have any money, therefore you're not part of the loop, and you can do nothing about it.

Now I know in your little commie fantasy world you'd like individual private capital to be subject to investment as determined by the public at large.  But it's not.  People with money are not going to take risks with the idiot in chief at the WH doing anti-capitalist legislation.  But you own your stupid little economic plans, and now you get to watch them go down in flames.  The business class and investor class aren't going to play along.  So shove it.

"Where the f*** are Keith and Rachael?"  I had to laugh at that one, it's like those two are messiah-lites.  Someone always has to come to the rescue.
The Dummies aren't reading all the polls all the way through.  Maybe they're taking selective data (like 72% of Democrats feel blah blah blah and running with that, instead of the overall population says something else).  The GP doesn't like this crap at all.

A rueful H5 to USA4me for his/her last two sentences.

A Million Dollars a Day Since Jesus Was Born
If you spent a million dollars a DAY since JESUS was born, you wouldn't spend as much as the US Congress just did. DId you have a say? This ad, from the American Issues Project, pretty much says it.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

I thought it was a rather telling poll.  It has probably already been 'DUed' and you can see the result they had.

I, too, still await my pony.  Should he arrive, I shall name him Pork.  Will the vet bill be deductible?  So much to think about.

If "pork" is the "other white meat", is "horse" "the other red meat"?
