Dear Senator McCain,

Dear Senator McCain,

Now looking back after 1 month don't you wish you had actually fought for the presidency like it mattered?

Thanks for nothing.

while he would have been infinitely better than obama on countless issues, I honestly don't think the porkulus bill would have looked very different, at least in terms of the final cost.  it would have been much heavier in terms of tax cuts, but it would have still been a disaster.

our pants wouldn't be dropping against the terrorists, however.

Yeah that^^ It would hurt but not as much.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

the midterm elections are right around the corner, dix.  I am not intentionally being passive-aggressive, but they have control of both houses of congress, as well as the white house.  they have an effective fillibuster proof majority in the senate.

fine.  do it, ****ers.

we'll cackle over your graves.

No I hear you. It's gonna get really ugly before it gets better again. I say go ahead. The mid-terms will be that much more important.

Bush and McCain have this Mr nice guy mentality whereas the Democ are kick you in the balls kinda politicians. I don't understand why McCain did not go after Obama on a bunch of issues.

Rick Santelli of the Chicago Mercantile blasted Obama about bailing out mortgage holders. Next day, the Democrats sent their pit bulls out to discredit him. The Repubs are too damn stupid to do that.

I'm still waiting for next year to hear how many of them STILL blame Bush for what's going on when it will have been readily apparent to even the most mouth-breathing, brain-dead Dem that Porkulus and the other "stimuli" applied to the economy have only deepened the recession.

Oh, I've got so much material for my moonbat Congresscritter (Che-Porter) that she may well block my IP addy by next November.

The 100% opposition in the House and all-but-3-traitors-targeted-for-removal in the Senate shows that the Republicans are looking down and rediscovering their balls.

But is it too little too late?

This is exactly the horror that I imagined would happen if Obama was elected. A filibuster proof Senate. The minority leader of the Senate needs to step up to the plate and inform Collins, Snow and Specter that if they support Stimulus 2, TARP 2, Socialized Meds bill and other liberal legislation that he will take their minority committee chairmanships away and put them on a less desirable committees. It's time to start twisting arms like LBJ did.

Didn't I suggest this after they first time they voted for Porkulus?
