Started the day on a bit of an up!

had a really good night last night and got a decent amount of sleep.  My eldest is back at school for the first time this week after being home sick so the house has some quiet, puppers is being a doll.

I have to do shopping later this morning and then the afternoon is a vet appointment and allergy shots for the kiddies.

Cold as heck and sunny here at least.

Who the hell can afford a REAL doctor these days? Duh!

I just hate trying holding them down when the vet crams the thermometer in, not to mention when they get the big de-worming pill :p

Oh hay, I am in a good mood today almost in spite of the fact that my wife told me with an absolute straight face last night that we have lost over a hundred freaking thousand dollars from our retirement and investment assets in the last six months.

How is everyone else doing with markets, IRA's, mutual funds, etc, etc?

I had to pay my tuition for next term today.  :(

Tonight I'm supposed to go to Broncos to see Velvet Lovebox, I think.  My friends are celebrating their wedding anniversary there tonight and got a babysitter for the kiddo.  I'm only going for a couple of hours max, cause I gots to work in the morning. 

I'm so sleepy today and I got a decent amount of sleep.  I almost fell asleep in my accounting class this morning.  Yikes.


Oh, as far as my 401k, I haven't done anything.  I have many many years to go before retirement and it'll eventually go back up.  One of my uncles had retired early, but ended up losing around half a million this last year and may have to go back to work (plus, they had the bills to cover my aunt's kidney tumor surgery, tests, etc.).

VLB is really good!  They play at Monte Carlo's all the time.  That should be lots of fun :)

Dreary day here...cloudy, windy, intermintant precipitation...really blah.

Was gonna run to the store, but really just need a couple things, so Mr Flame is going to stop on his way home from work.

Nothing exciting planned today...having a veggie lasagna and a salad for dinner tonight.

My day was going well, until my nasty old lady co-worker decided to make a phone call to a friend.  She's like half deaf in the first place and I can hear everything even with my radio on.  Then she decides to discuss her sex life.  :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:

I couldn't get out of my office fast enough.  It's burned into my brain.  I need to drink a lot to try and forget.

Well, I left my office and walked right into my boss' and told her.  I said I don't want to hear that from anyone that works here.  I'm sorry it's disgusting and unprofessional.  I'd rather hear my mom talking about sex with her boyfriend than this lady. 

OMG!  And apparently that song "Buttercup" is her and her boyfriend's "song" or something.  Anywho, so again she's ****ing deaf and is blasting that song you can hear it all over the office.  Well, the first time I was like "um, that's okay I like this song."  Then she played it again and I was like "really??"  I was gonna walk over there and tell her to turn it down if it had started a third time, but thankfully it didn't.

I had to renew my passport a few years ago.  There wasn't a line so it wasn't so bad.
