7. Considering that I own a business, it's vital. NOBODY gets to talk to me unless they identify themselves via Caller ID; "Out of Area" is always a sign that it's some schmuck trying to sell me something.

And if I don't answer the phone, and they don't leave a message, screw 'em; they're not someone I want to talk to.

Hmmm.  One suspects they're not ALL trying to sell Chief S itting Bull, the bird-smacking stoned red-faced primitive something; some of them might be calling for a wholly different reason.

I'm a small business owner and we answer every call.....just in case it might be a potential customer.  I have seen fellow business owners as they go under not answer the phone because it's a supplier asking for money, the state wanting their sales tax, etc.

Sitting bull is full of bull.

S itting Bull screening his business calls is very stupid.  If it is a supplier trying to get paid, and enough of that trouble is going on, he will cease to have a supplier.   Maybe if he's nice, he can get his goods COD (and not a check either, green stuff).  BUT, they never think things through, do they?  Similar to the credit default thread.
