Sappy isn't the right word.  I don't know who here has their daughter in cheer so I refuse to comment.

You and I are neighbors.   :naughty:  :-*

So, are there any fun things to do in this town when you're a broke college student?  :whatever:

you did what this weekend?

oh sorry I misread your post.

I WILLINGLY drove to Tulsa on Thursday only to ride with a high school friend to Hot Springs, AR so her daughter could compete in a cheer competition.  My friend smokes (no offense to the smokers here) and I felt like I was in a smokey bar the whole way up there (4 hour drive).  Thank God the hotel was smoke free.  Her daughter is obnoxious and got on my nerves big time.  The competition varied between being sexually suggestive and being really quite impressive.  You could tell by their uniforms which group fell into which category.  It was expensive as hell.  When the kids wanted something to eat none of their mothers were around so I forked over money to feed children that I don't know and never will see again.

My friend lives totally different than I do so I found it really uncomfortable and I must admit I was very judgemental the whole weekend.  I knew what it was going to be like yet I went anyway, I only have myself to blame.  One bright spot was we went out saturday night to a bar and listened to two guys play the hell out of their guitars.  It was almost worth it as one of the guys looked like Leif Garrett when he was younger.  His guitar was wireless and he kept coming around me and playing.  One time he sat down in a chair right next to me and played a Fleetwood Mac song.  If I were the swooning type I totally would have thrown my bra at him or something.

What's a Brazilian?

Along with beer, a Brazilian is proof that God loves us.

I can't play an instrument, darn it. I have trouble with this keyboard sometimes...  the only times a girl has thrown things at me it was meaqnt to hurt
