We have 4 kids ages 9-14.
His dad did the same and it nearly killed his mom but she thinks him doing it is OK.

Gotta agree with that.  Unless it didn't matter at all (but then why get married in the first place?), I can see forgiving one such incident, the flesh is weak, life is complicated, and all that.  Taking him back after the second time just says "Yeah, you can do this as often as you like."

A conservative friend of mine took a book out of the library where she works and that was exactly what the lib author wrote...that all men were rapist,just some had done it for real and the rest haven`t yet.

If the public ever knew exactly what that ilk believes and thinks they wouldn`t ever vote gor them again.

I tend to not judge these situations.  My mother stayed with my father for years and years while he cheated on her constantly.  Hell, they divorced and remarried each other and divorced again.

Well it isn't the first time someones done this and obviously not going to end with those two. Its sad that it happenes and they should have done something about it after the first time. Like the others here have said ,if she didn't stop him then when was she going to?

It was my Mom who couldn't stay at home. My dad divorced and she married again. My stepdad was a great guy! He was 6'2" and weighed 250 lbs! It was pretty stupid to step out on him but she did several times! She paid dearly for it, too!

When I was 16 I told him she wasn't worth it, but he loved her and and stayed until he died!

For both of my parents it's best that they're not married to each other now.  I understand my mom loves him (still does, though not the same way).  I told her when I was 15 she was an idiot.  The "I'm gonna kick him out if he does it again" it's easy to say, but in reality not always easy for either person to do. 

I wish the DUer the best.
