The Misery Loves Company No Fun Plans Valentines Day Thread.
« on: February 14, 2009, 07:35:42 PM »
Half the family is sick and I am just now getting better, so no dinner out with flowers and music and no Bow Chick A Bow Bow later. :(

They are all parked under blankets in the living room digesting the soup I made.

What aren't you doing tonight?

I was going to start the "Post in here if you're not gettin' any tonight" thread.  Looks like you beat me to it.

Pizza and beer tonight.  Spent the day at and work and have to be back tomorrow afternoon.  I think I prefer Sundays.  Saturdays are way too busy for me.

I'd email you one but I think it would just be awkward for both of us.

You have my celebate flu ridden sympathies though.

Thankfully I'm not the only one alone tonight.

Just sitting here in my room watching movies, eating junk food and debating if I'm going to run down to the liquor store for another gallon of rum.

Well I'm not alone! I've got my two wonderful Yorkies at my feet.
I had a busy day cleaning my house, even shampooed my carpets.
Then took a long soaker bath, shaved my legs, got all comfy in my
fuzzy robe with some hot chocolate and now me and the dogs are
about to curl up on the couch and watch a movie.

Life doesn't get any better than this. Who the heck needs a man
to screw up comfortable moments like this? No this old broad.

Don't you know it!  I have U-Verse TV.  It's better than any woman.  It understands me.

Well I nearly lopped off a finger cooking dinner so I'm out for the evening. I did get really nice flowers and a kitchen island that hubby put together for me. Little mancub is building a city out of legos and I'm watching where I step. Those things hurt when you step on them! Yeeouch!

I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

On the behalf of little (and grown) boys everywhere, I offer my condolences. :-)

I sorta miss Legos.  But I have my car.  It's like a giant, ****ed-up Lego set.

Yep, I catch Mr. Belle eyeing the legos sometimes.  :evillaugh:

They do keep the little guy entertained for hours though. Despite being little sharp landmines in the carpet.
