Oh my.

Remember, A-Rod wasn't a New York Yankee when this happened.

George Steinbrenner had nothing to do with it.

What a happy day. A-rod's confession (shame on him), assures that if he overtakes Bonds, it won't be legitimate -- and Barry will retain his HR record.

It's a very good day.

Now let's see if he's treated like Bonds was on the road ... or are the hypocrites going to whine, "Oh at least 'lil Alex told the truth that he used HGH..."

Barry was treated like a rapist and a serial killer even though he says he's innocent.

Alex says he violated MLB rules. A New York Yankee.

Not my San Francisco Giant.

Now that this is behind us, time to pick up Manny Ramirez.

But he wasn't a New York Yankee when he did it.

George Steinbrenner remains, as usual, as pure as the driven snow.

1. "Legitimate" will never exist again.

And hasn't existed in a while. It's been questionable for a long time. Any superstar will be peered at through testosterone eyes.

I still find it odd, as I've espoused here that "performance enhancement" has such a divide. It seems that it's only cheating if it's illegal. Funny that.

Oh, and this BoSox fan wishes you the best with Manny.

3. They won't get Manny and maybe it'll be for the best.

I'd rather keep hating him deep down inside.

4. I'm surprised you haven't taken down the Sharks avatar considering how shitty they've been playing.

5. A good day indeed

bonds and a-rod gone. Schmidt's creaping up in the standings and he hasn't played in 21 years.

OJ Simpson was treated as a murderer "even though he says he's innocent."

alex confessed, a spiritually weak bonds clings to his lies. If only barry were a man like alex, instead of some hopped up freak to weak to tell the truth.

Pick up Manny Ramirez and do what?

6. Watch all the hypocrites cboy

they will now use A-Fraud's ridiculous confession as an excuse to ignore him and continue about the process of lynching Bonds...

I agree with you on Manny, not only would it help the Giants but keeping him away from the Dodgers means it would pay dual dividends.

8. Nope both bad

But I give Arod SOME credit for confessing when confronted. Lame ass Barry and his flaxseed oil excuse can go jump off a cliff.

9. You admitted yourself yesterday that his confession was just all about damage control....now you're giving him credit?

11. Another excellent post from Upton!

I just don't want LA to sign Manny more than anything.

But we do need some offense to supplement the best pitching staff in baseball.

What a great Post headline, OMFG!

Poor Sterod. HA

7. No it won't be either Bonds or A-Rod that holds the record

Its always gonna be Hank Aaron. There is quite a movement afoot to wipe out the steroid records. I think thats the way to go.

Excuse me! If, what I have heard is true, When A-Rod used steroids, it was not against the rules!

This was 2003 if I'm not mistaken. Wasn't it 2005 when the players union outlawed them?

They did have certain substances thet were forbidden, but according to what I heard yesterday on the radio, What A-Rod was taking was not on the list. It is now however.

So what is this moran talking about?

You Heard right and also A-Rod was with the Rangers at that time.
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

A-Rod got caught.  Wasn't it rumored he was dating Madonna?  So all things considered, he could have caught something worse.
