Report: Poland to 'Punish' Taliban Who Beheaded Polish Geologist

"Poland pledges to capture and "punish" the Taliban militants who beheaded a Polish engineer in Pakistan on Friday before delivering a video of the attack to the media, the Times of London reports.

Piotr Stanczak was reportedly kidnapped four months ago while working in the Attock district — a region close to Pakistan's lawless North West Frontier Province.

A video released to media outlets Sunday shows the beheading of Stanczak just minutes after he appears on tape urging the Polish government not to send troops to neighboring Afghanistan.

On Monday, Poland's Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said the video had been authenticated and pledged to bring the terrorists to justice, according to the Times of London."FNC

Didn't hear or see anything, either.

Obama's "take"? Well, given that he's now afraid to say "War on Terror" for fear of offending "moderate" Muslims--you know, those who by their silence implicitly support the Islamofascists--what occurred must've just been a crime.

As for calling them savages? Watch it, now: They've special privileges.

As for me: We will defeat the terrorists when we show them the same no-quarter-taken attitude they've consistently shown.

Maybe then, terrorists everywhere will take notice.

But not with Gitmo closing, Obama's cowardice, etc.

BTW: It's a shame and tragic that yet another Westerner suffered at the hands of these terrorists. I hope the Poles respond swiftly, fiercely and decisively.

I seem to remember hearing about Polish cavalry fighting assorted Europeans through the last millenia.  They generally weren't a force to be ****ed around with.  (Yeah, they were seriously outnumbered in WWII, but . . . )Also, remember that Poland sent troops to Iraq in the early stages of the rebuilding effort, and I seem to remember hearing about some of them who engaged Saddam loyalists in hand-to-hand combat during that period--and won.

what possible good would it do, geopolitically speaking, to behead a polish engineer?  for heavens sake.  but, hey, I guess they have to cut someone's head of.  and the muhammedian candidate has spoken;  he told the islamic fascist world that america isn't their enemy . . . so apparently, they have decided that the poles must be.

any head will do, obviously.

I hope the Poles follow through on this. But I wonder if they will be able to catch them? It seems to me that no one even knows who they are, much less where they are. We have been trying to get Bin Laden for years, and we know a lot more about him then we know about these guys.
