An Illinois woman and an Indiana man were arrested in the Bahamas this week for allegedly catching and eating an endangered species of iguana, according to the Freeport News.

Vanessa Starr Palm, 23, of Illinois and Alexander Daniel Rust, 24, of Indiana, were arrested last Monday near Black Point and Staniel Cay in the Bahamas, the article said. The two were "found in breach of the Fisheries Regulations and the Wild Animal Protection Act" and were placed in $500 bail. Their next court appearance is in George Town on Exuma, a district of the Bahamas, Tuesday.

I feel a hot wind on my shoulder
And the touch of a world that is older
I turn the switch and check the number
I leave it on when in bed I slumber
I hear the rhythms of the music
I buy the product and never use it
I hear the talking of the DJ
Can't understand just what does he say?

I'm on a mexican radio
I'm on a mexican radio

I dial it in and tune the station
They talk about the U.S. inflation
I understand just a little
No comprende, it's a riddle

I'm on a mexican radio
I'm on a mexican radio

I wish I was in Tijuana
Eating barbequed iguana
I'd take requests on the telephone
I'm on a wavelength far from home
I feel a hot wind on my shoulder
I dial it in from south of the border
I hear the talking of the DJ
Can't understand just what does he say?

I'm on a mexican radio
I'm on a mexican radio
I'm on a mexican radio
I'm on a mexican radio

Radio radio...
What does he say ?

Eating barbequed iguana

A cousin of mine ran some greenhouses. There was a girl working for him there that had a pet iguana. She moved into an apartment building that didn't allow "any" pets so she gave her pet iguana to a Mexican couple (legal) that also worked there. The next day she asked how the iguana was. "It was good.", was the reply...... :rotf:
