Went to Dillards to take back a pair of shoes I bought my youngest for her birthday (they were too small) then I thought I would check out their sale stuff.  I ended up buying myself two pairs of "Miss Me" jeans (they make my butt look like it is still "up there") and I paid full price because they looked that good.   :p

Last night my daughter said she needed something to auction off for "business day".  They do Business Day every six weeks, they have go get together in groups and think of something to sell.  They then have to make it (there is a cost limit), market it and get all the "permits" to allow them to open a booth.  It really is a neat program they are doing at the school.  It helps kids understand money, what it's like to make a profit/loss, marketing and what it takes to run a business (of course on a simplistic level).  Anyway, they had to figure out something to auction and it had to do with WIND.  My husband got a plasma cutter a few months ago so he decided to help her make wind chimes.  It turned out so well (it's all rusty which looks really cool because the metal was already rusty) that I want him to make me one.  I wish I would have taken a picture of it.

Today is a great day, it's in the 70's and a slightly windy.

That's a neat project she does for school.  Today's a good day for a wind chime too.  lol

Got off early today because I did a lot of overtime this week. Monday is my first furlough day so I get a three-day weekend.  :whatever:

I'm exhausted but still found the energy to get in a short run after I got off work today.

Now I'm eating a pizza and sucking down a Pepsi for an early dinner.

Like the nerd that I am, I'll probably hit the hay early since I'm so dang tired.  :banghead:

I've been playing computer geek all day. All THREE of my desktops crashed yesterday !!!  :o One was the onboard video, another was a ghost because it fixed itself, and the third required a reinstall of windoze. Then all of the other miscellaneous programs I need to reinstall....... Almost time for BSG......

Took the kids and their friends to see the movie Coraline.  It was really cute, the girls loved it.  The only thing that bothered me was my youngest daughter's friend kept snorting through the whole movie.  I kept thinking really bad thoughts every time she snorted, I even thought of ways to forcefully make her stop.   :uhsure:

She has allergies but good God, don't her parents know how bad her allergies are?  Every time I am around this girl she makes the most obnoxious sounds.  I asked her if she takes allergy shots and she said no.  Then I asked her if she has allergy medicine, she said yes but her parents never give it to her.  Her nose and eyes are all red, she looks miserable and she is still at my house....snorting away.

BEG I am glad to hear that is a cute movie.  My kids really want to go to it.

I am in a piss poor mood tonight.  I stated that elsewhere.  But between all the shenanigans that obama has started and done just pisses me off.  Top it off with some hourly wage girl called my office manager directly.  Instead of going through me like I have told her THREE times before she called my OM directly and not only did she try to get her to do things that we DON'T do, she told her about a new project that isn't even going to that office.  I had to call this hourly girl and tell her to go through me on everything - again - she argued with me!  It took every ounce of control to not rip her a new one.  Instead I was very nice about it and then I turned around and told her supervisor that her calling my Office Manager is not to happen again.  I won't be nice after the third time of telling her this shit.

I did get out with a friend and got a pedicure and went to lunch.

I do have to say I am so pissed about things today I need to let out my aggression...somehow.    :uhsure:

Guess I'll have to wait for BSG to come out on DVD.  Couldn't find the Sci-Fi channel on the hotel television.
