I don't know who was on this morning, but Shep Smith said a little while ago that the Commander of the Cole was "bewildered" that the charges would be dropped.
"Bewildered"? I'd like to know what the ship's captain said off-camera, and later to his wife and then his shipmates.
Obama is supposed to be meeting with family members of the lost souls on the Cole this afternoon(?) to explain his decision.
Seems like he should have met with them first instead of them hearing it on a television program.
It apparently has to do with him closing down Gitmo. The guy is saying that his confession was obtained by torture and water-boarding....and Obama says he was coerced and his confession would not be accepted in a US court then.
That's the way I understood Shep Smith to have explained it.
When I heard about Obama speaking with the families, which apparently also included families of those killed on 9/11, several things came immediately to mind.
One, I wanted to puke.
Two, I wanted to puke on him.
Three, I hoped that some of the families would scream at him and then puke on him.
Four, I hoped that this was all recorded for posterity.
This man has no conscience.
Just three weeks or so in office, I think that he really is a closet Muslim. That he really has a worse case of HUTA syndrome than I could've imagined.
That he's really just a windup doll for his handlers and others who, like him, hate America, its common people, its members of the Armed Forces, its everything--but love and hide behind its being a safe harbor for the likes of him, someone who can hate the very country that's given him this opportunity and the freedoms he has.
And, you bet, I resent his spitting on the military and the memory of those sailors.
As far as I'm concerned, we don't need some Biden-prophesied crisis to test Obama. What he's shown me already is that he's a coward and when, not if, America is attacked by Islamofascists or others, he'll fold immediately and surrender our sovereignty and national pride to the his fellow cowards, the terrorists and others who would destroy America.
He's beyond now being an embarrassment and a eunuch.
He is even more dangerous that I could've expected.
