Alone in my apartment in Richmond away from home.

Got some Stella and will go down the road and pick up some BBQ.

Whoopie.

I'll look for the SB live thread here but I tend not to do much om those because I am watching the game instead of posting.

I'll be at work.  I suppose the game will be on one of the flatscreen displays hanging on the wall.
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

Plan is to drive up and see an old pal and watch the game in a sports bar but I may cancel the trip. He is a cool guy and a good friend but he watches football like a girl. That is one thing during the season but for the SB I may just have to stay home.

If I do stay home, I'll cook up my famous hunk-o-meat, instant mashed potatoes, corn, dinner rolls and beer beer and more beer kinda meal. Put my feet up and cheer my head of for Arizona. (mostly because "**** the Steelers")

Yeah football!!!!

*snort*

I'm going over to my sister's house. In exchange for letting me watch the game on their killer HD TV, I'm buying the pizza and wings.

I'm excited. It's going to be a fun, relaxing day.

Gotta root for the Cards. Although it feels very weird.

*DOH* I should have remembered that from the playoff threads :)

Let me see...my daughter requested wings, so we are going to do those, guacamole, queso, spinach dip and homemade tortilla chips.

Just going to be the 5 of us, so it will be low key.

I dunno.

I think I'll be driving to town to the bar, to pick up an order of a hamburger, well done, and french fries done on the grill instead of in the fryer, and come back here to finish reading a book about Rita Hayworth.

I'm not a fan of professional sports, but Pittsburgh is probably going to win anyway, so no worries.

If I had to put money on it, I'd go with Pitt too. As my teams (Seattle and secondly the Bengals) are long out of it and have been thinking about the draft since November, I have to root for the Cards. The Steelers beat my Hawks in SB XL and they beat my Bungles pretty much twice a year for the last few decades. That said, college sports rule.

I'll be with friends................picked up 18 cases of beer for the party today, well technically yesterday.  Bought ten pounds of wings.  2 racks of (already cooked) ribs. have about 10 pounds of boiled peanuts I pulled out of the freezer.  Making a sausage cheese spread for use on the focosia....(however it's spelled) I made earlier.  Picking up 2 pounds of fresh back fin lump for itself or another dip.  I know we have about 20 pounds of BBQ coming....................it's gonna be fun

Depends on when I get checked in.  I'm travelling today (actually on the bus headed down to Logan as I type) so I'll have to do a bit of exploring as well.  I believe there's a Buffalo Wild Wings not far from the hotel where I'm staying.  Never been to one before--anyone rate them compared to, say, National Sports Grill(freedumb?)?

As an added buzzkill, we got a "warning" e-mail at work yesterday about how we don't want to drink or get in trouble, etc...I swear, I understand the whole concept of fitness for duty, but do these people think we're REALLY going to be so stupid as to STAY drunk after the party, etc?

BWW is good. The "Hot BBQ" or "Wild" wings are probably the best. The potato wedges are also good.

We are going to be grilling Cajun-chicken drumsticks and cheddar brats with sides like potato salad, baked beans, etc.
