I think Limbaugh PREDICT the Steelers will win. the fuhrer WANTS them to win...
Rush has ALWAYS been a Steeler fan as long as I have been listening to him, so of course he does predict them to win.
HOWEVER, I will call Rush out on the logic that he used to make his "Environmentalist Whacko" pick this time around. One of Rush's tongue-in-cheek shticks is to select the winner of an NFL football game based on how the environmentalist wacko would want the game to end up. For instance, in a game between the Vikings and the Broncos, the environmentalist wacko would easily select the Broncos, as that team represents horses that are free on the range, while the Vikings represent the white man raping the lands of the Native Americans, etc.
So when the Steelers played the Cardinals, Rush had to severely modify the paradigm to show how the Steelers were LESS of a blight to the environmentalist wackos than the Cardinals. Unfortunately, he had to leave the narrow range of the environmentalist theme to actually embrace the entire liberal/socialist/democrat ideology. He said that the Steelers represented the Union Working Man, which trumped the environmental havoc that the steel forges and factories unleashed onto the planet. Meanwhile, the Cardinals were related to geese, which flew into engines of a jet airliner causing it to land in the Hudson, where a UNION pilot made a COURAGEOUS landing.
However, Rush had to leave the realm of the environmentalist wacko zone to tailor the winner to his own desires. Frankly, the true environmentalist wacko would never even accept the presence of man, union or not, destroying the environment by making steel factories. In extension, those factories enabled the planes to fly and SERIAL MURDER hundreds of geese serenely flying in formation to the south. So Rush tried to Barack his way out of the Super Bowl pick but you can't fool me. He tries to explain it but doesn't do a very convincing job.
