All of their suggestions are just regurgitating what has been spoon-fed to them, of course. Among all the lunacy, let me comment on this one:
"focus on infrastructure which will actually create jobs in all sectors of the economy. "
First, did you ever notice how saying "sector" makes them feel intellectual? Do they know what that means? Also, when they say "which will actually" makes them feel like they are speaking absolute truth, as in "gravity makes things fall down."
As for infrastructure, I was discussing this with someone at Moonbattery. There is no such thing as a shovel-ready project. Let's say you think you have a shovel-ready project. "Here I am, Messiah! Ready with my shovel!" Suddenly an enviromoonbat roars up and says, "We suspect the Burrowing Titmouse inhabits these grounds. See you in court for the next 10 years!" And goes roaring off.
Regulations put in place by the same people who want to "focus on infrastructure" will prevent that very work from getting done. Tangled in red tape, it falls into quagmire. Witness the Freedom Tower, and The Big Dig. Law of unintended consequences rears its ugly head again.
