why is something, or rather, why are some things, missing?

I went to wikipedia to look up some things.

Much to my surprise, Fat Che doesn't appear to be mentioned there any more, nor does his "White Rose Society."

I even got so desperate as to look for the biography of a late red round one, and that's not there.

All this stuff used to be on wikipedia.

Ive taken a look, and found the discussions for the deletion of these entities, circa 2006, 2007 for the website.

I read the comments to all 3 articles.

"The person is non-notable".....you know that has to hurt a liberals ego.... :rotf:

It hurts when even your fellow liberals tell you....you don't amount to $#!^.... :rotf:
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

Thank you, sir: I went to each of the three links.

I was sort of outdated on Fat Che, who won't let me register at the Rancid Rhodes message board despite that I'm aboveboard about it; the last I had heard, Fat Che was leaving wikipedia, but then reconsidered.  Apparently he did leave.

Fat Che made it sound like his leaving would be a detriment to wikipedia.

Yeah, sure.

With the subtraction of these three articles, wikipedia added to its credibility.

I always suspected Fat Che had sockpuppet-written the now-gone entries about himself and his stupid web-site; blatant self-promotion.

I think I'll visit wikipedia more often, now that Fat Che isn't pompously waddling around, looking very much like a grossly obese rooster preening its inadequate feathers.  Fat Che always tried giving the impression he owned the place.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site
