It's Sunday.
« on: January 25, 2009, 11:20:37 AM »
I am mean, tired and crochety. I wish the snow was gone so I could tell the neighbor kids to get off my lawn. That's how crotchety I feel right now. Meh.

Could NOT sleep last night and the stupid puppy misses Brett and would NOT go to sleep. She kept me tossing and turning for the three hours I finally did manage. It's almost 10 below here and I have not been able to warm up all day.  I wonder if I am coming down with a cold or sumthin.

The missus is coming home today though. She got her stuff caught up working with no distractions.

Kids are being dears though.  The eldest gathered up all of the laundry in the house on her own initiative and started running loads. :)

Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

12:45 PM on a Sunday afternoon, and me without a beer.

This.  Is.  BULLSHIT.

I'm currently at work.  Not really doing anything.

Last night while still coughing I did manage to go to my friend's house for a couple of hours to watch some teevee and play some darts.  Then went home and promptly took my Nyquil and went to sleepy town.  All that is left of the sickies is a cough, so hopefully in a couple of days I'll be back to 100%.

After I get home I plan on doing some laundry and lounging around.  :)

I'm sittin' here cussin' my friend TxRadioGuy for getting me hooked on this place.
I decided to go back to school and get an MBA recently, while also working full time plus.
I've got much to read and papers to write and no time to be wasting on the intarwebs.
If I make bad grades this week, it is TxRadio's fault.

I'm not an operator anymore--haven't been since I left Uncle Sam's Canoe Club.  Nope, the only 'trons they trust me to herd are electrons.  Granted, it's all double-time, but it's still Sunday.

Maybe I can get the repair guy to come out to the house while I'm gone.  Fat chance of that.

In general a lot of us tend to blame TRG for most things that go wrong.

Last week he effed up my washing machine and burned a tray of biscuits here.

Glad to have you aboard Kay!

Ugh...$26 for a pair of Arizona jeans (well, they're actually work pants) And that was the SALE price.  :banghead: If anyone knows of a cheaper alternative, let me know.

Only good thing was, that since I knew my size, I was in and out of the store in about 10 minutes.  I can shop without taking too much time.  I WAS tempted, though, as they had some really cute blouses on sale.  But I had a job to do.

Today, I've been mostly lazy.  Remained in bed until around noon ( :innocent: ) did the shopping thing, did a little cleaning, and now I'm here.  I close at work tonight, but that's fine with me, as long as no one calls out or goes home due to "asthma" like someone did last night (like hell he has asthma  ::) ).

My PC crapped out about 15 minutes ago.  I managed to pull out a medium-sized dust bunny and replaced the cooling fan with another new one.  It seems to be running a little better now. :-)

So, do they have a pant size that caters to us midgets? :p I'm 5'3'' and I have to have pants that are meant for short legs (like with Arizona... size 3 short flare is what's on the sticker for my Arizonas).

I'm 5'4" on a tall day, but need a 32" inseam. I wear a 6, and I know they come in 4's. I never check the jr sizes.

They do have "short" though. I know I can't wear them!

Next time I'm at Wally-World, I'll take a look (probably not until Friday, though.).  I lost a whole bunch of weight, and am attempting to regain enough to get back to a size 5 (in Arizonas... my poor regular jeans need a belt so they'll stay on my hips :bawl:  A friend of mine poked fun at me the other day when I forgot my belt. :asssmack:  ). I'd rather have some curves then be stick-thin.

Enjoy the "stick thin" while you can. I used to be the same way.....started getting curves in my late 30's....now I feel like a damn hour glass.... :(

I still get called "stick-thin" by my own sister.  My sis has always had a rather curvy figure (especially in the posterior region.  The BIL says that what he loves most about her.  I didn't need to hear that from him. :hammer: ).  I know a few months back, when I weighed in at 128 (she, mom, and nephew were visiting) she made a comment to the effect of "hey, you've got a booty growing there."   :lmao:  Curves are the norm in the family, yet I'm the ABNORMAL family member (I also have extremely thick hair, while everyone else has thin hair).
