Former death row inmate arrested for robbery
« on: January 24, 2009, 01:54:17 PM »
Quote
A former death row inmate has been arrested after police charged him with helping another man rob an IHOP restaurant in Lake Wales.

Darryl Earl Moody, 47, spent about four years awaiting execution for the murder of a Bartow citrus grower. But his conviction and sentence were later overturned because of an illegal search.

Moody is now accused of serving as a getaway driver in the late-night robbery. He is charged with robbery with a firearm and false imprisonment. He was also arrested on charges of resisting an officer without violence and fleeing to elude.

Maybe ignoring his crime because of an illegal search wasn't such a great idea...
If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Spread my work ethic, not my wealth.

Forget change, bring back common sense.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

That's funny. Some truth to it too.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

once again, an example of how the death penalty reduces crime . . . at least when it isn't subverted.
