I sold shoes in a previous life.  :p

Since Gov. Palin wears a size 7.5 in pumps, she probably wears an 8 in flats.  Most women I recall fitting had to go down 1/2 in size when going from flats to pumps because you're essentally standing on your toe, so your foot doesn't spread out as much.

Any more scary things you want me to reveal?  :naughty:

.

Yes, I wear a size 6 yet I'm 5'7".  What does that say about me?

You have small feet and if you don't hurry to the store and get those shoes you saw in the catalog soon, they'll have sold out of your size.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. Most women wear a 7 or 7.5.  Those of you closer to the 5 and 10 sizes, you already know your selection is limited, especially if you don't get there the day they come off the truck.

BTW, my mother-in-law is 5'11" and wears a size 12.

Also, the difference between men's sizes and women's is the number two (2).

men's 8 = women's 10
men's 7 = women's 9
etc...

That will conclude today's lesson because I forgot everything else.  Need a mortgage?

When I was in college, they had me stand next to one of the MSU basketball players for a photo for the dorm newsletter. I couldn't tell you his name though! I'll have to see if I can find it and scan it.

MSU = Memphis State?  Was it Keith Lee?  He was a great player.

Mrs. FD is 5' even and wears a 2.  That is not a typo -- she wears a shoe size 2.  In fact her dress size is between 2 or 3.

We have to get her shoes in Mexico because you can't get heels here on anything under size 5.

i doubt that Sarah Palin actually wore those shoes.  they are beneath her.  no pun intended.  that chick has a ton of class, though, and those shoes don't.

She wore them when she was announced as the VP candidate.
