Quote
...Hours later, a second missile strike hit neighboring South Waziristan, killing at least eight people.

There have been about 30 similar missile attacks in Pakistan since the middle of last year, despite public objections by the Pakistani government.  These are the first ones since U.S. President Barack Obama took office on Tuesday. The Bush administration refused to confirm or deny responsibility for the strikes....

I dunno about anybody else, but I get the impression 0bama's bumbling around, because now that he's president, he's slowly starting to realize he isn't big enough for the job.

I think we're going to see a whole lot of mistakes.

But I told you so.

No doubt.  I foresee him freezing all military/intelligence covert ops until he personally reviews them, in response to Pakistan's whining about this minor instance of cleaning up their out-of-control house for them.

Sink-wife told me that she heard something on the news awhile back that congressional democrats have urged obama to do nothing for the first year so they could continue to blame President Bush when things went wrong.

That just shows what the democrats think of the voters - they are too damned stupid to figure out that President Bush left office already and there was a limp-wristed sheriff in town.

We are now back to where we were on 9/10/01.

FWIW, you, sir, have my to-date award for the understatment of 2009.

I begin to feel sorry for Obama, in that he is so in over his head. But I also am very concerned because of that.

Just wondering if his puppeteers and/or fellow Democrats, liberals and leftists who helped install him are seeing and wondering the same things?

May God have mercy on us.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
