Why Can't 'Eco-Conscious' Liberals Clean Up After Themselves

For decades, a consistent media theme has been that liberals are far more concerned about the environment than conservatives.

If such is the case, why did the folks attending Barack Obama's inauguration on Tuesday treat our nation's capital like a toilet?

Almost right. Security measures didn't allow for any trash receptacles.  What I don't understand, is where all the garbage came from. There were strict limits on what items could be brought into the area, so was all this crap furnished by Obama?  I still cannot fathom the stupidity necessary to throw away one of the plastic flags given out.  Wouldn't that be something a person would want to keep?

It's like I've always taught my kids when we go fishing.  If you're able to carry it in, you sure as hell can carry it back out.

Sportsmen and outdoorsmen (and women) are generally the most eco-conscous and clean people.  Like the title of the OP says, the greenie wienies can be counted on to trash their own neighborhood while wanting to clean up the planet.
