The former first lady, Mr Obama's rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, replaces Condoleezza Rice as the top US diplomat.

In an earlier hearing, Mrs Clinton promised a departure from the foreign policy of the Bush administration. ...

Who's the new senator from New York?  There was such worry about Illinois being without one, where's the new Kennedy on the block?

It was the pantsuit that did it. No one fills out a pantsuit quite like Hillary.

Why in the hell did the republicans not stop this? So, when a dem President nominates someone they are in, when a republican President does there is a fight? After eight years of dem senators screwing with Bush's nominees, it is nice to see the republicans just roll over for Obama.

Do ever go to lucianne.com?  I LOVE that site and they lovingly refer to Hillary as "pig in a pantsuit"  It makes me laugh.

What else did you expect the spineless, cheese dick bastards to do?  Even when they were the majority they were bending and scraping to the NeoCommies, why should that stop when the NeoCOmmies are in charge again.

That's why the NeoCommies are in charge. Too many of the Republicans have been spineless wonders. McCain is doing the country no favors. He actually gets me sick now to even see his appeasing, turncoat face. Sorry I voted for him, but I would be sicker if I voted for O.

I admire Rush, Hannity and Laura Ingraham for speaking up and not being gushing, disgusting sheeples.

He just doesn't get it, and at his age obviously never will.  Having him for a candidate was like trying to swim with an anchor.

I'll post the story of the person to replace her in the US Senate in another thread.  Hint--she's Carl's and my congresscritter.
"Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

"Those that trust God with their safety must yet use proper means for their safety, otherwise they tempt Him, and do not trust Him.  God will provide, but so must we also." - Matthew Henry, Commentary on 2 Chronicles 32, from Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible

"These anti-gun fools are more dangerous to liberty than street criminals or foreign spies."--Theodore Haas, Dachau Survivor

Chase her.
Chase her even when she's yours.
That's the only way you'll be assured to never lose her.
