Obama needs a whipping boy to contrast his "greatness" -- FYI: In a story at the Hill, Susan Sarandon compared him to Jesus and another liberal/fascist entertainer compared him to Mohandas Gandhi -- and George W. Bush will be Obama's and the Democrats for, well, the foreseeable future.

Maybe GWB was slow to act. But at least he did. Within four days of Katrina's devastation, he signed a $10.5 billion aid package.

He certainly did more than the re-elected mayor of NOLA, Ray Nagin, who failed to implement the evacuation plan.

And more than the governor of Louisiana and its two U.S. senators, who seemed paralyzed, especially the governor who delayed activation of the National Guard.

FWIW: Churches, including the one I attend, and buinsesses in this Mid-Atlantic/Southern area of flyover "racist" Red State America sent truckloads of food, clothing and supplies to the Gulf Coast. Members of our church went to serve, too. For the life of me, though, I don't recall liberal/leftist organizations, or Jeremiah Wright's TUCC, doing something similar.

I digress. Sorry.

I've a nephew who, along with this wife, lives in Jefferson Parrish. While he's a liberal, I've never heard him criticize Bush or the federal government about the cleanup efforts.

But he has nothing good to say about the mayor or the governance of NOLA and how they conducted themselves in those days.

ONCE AGAIN, America is being subjected to a democrat bad-mouthing a former republican president.

Just shows how much class democrat presidents have - ZIP, NADA, ZERO, BUMPKIS.

I have yet to hear any former republican president bad-mouth a democrat president.

President Bush [41] had more than ample justification to go after Billy "blow job" Klintoon over his constant attacks on his son, but he showed he has class and refrained from doing so.

It's not just low-class to criticize Bush now, but bad politics, too. Obama should be trying to gain support for his own initiatives, by reaching out to people, which is what he said he would do anyway. Instead, people are alienated from him, beginning on Day One. A fair amount of gloating is allowed, but on the White House web site? Bad idea.

including, or perhaps especially, democrats that got in the way of his trek to the top.

President George W. Bush will remain the Democrats', liberals' and lefitsts' whipping boy forever.

Victims and testicle-less as they are, they don't have it in them to accept responsibility for anything.

As as this White House Web site and Obama's performance in his inaugural speech or lecture or whatever it was shows, he lacks class but is full of vindictiveness and small-mindedness.

Honestly, as I watched him take the oath of office, and I did so just to remember the moment, I thought how the adults had been pushed out and the children had taken over.
