Ahhh, thanks asdf.

I feel slightly crummy today, my body's clearly trying to get sick, but I keep loading up on medicine.  I have to do a ton of accounting homework tonight since last night I decided to Nyquil it up!

And it's chilly outside, only 52.  :)

I think I'm going to run more steaming hot water in the bathtub now, and steam up the bathroom, and be there for a while.

There's a hot-water vaporizer here, chugging out steam like a steam locomotive, but it's not enough.

This'll be the third soaking for me today.

I contemplated buying some of those vapor thingys for the shower last night.  In the end I didn't get it.  I'm taking store brand Dayquil today.

My 14 yo came home from school.   I asked him if they watched the inauguration.  He said "yea, we had to watch the inaugural address, then that lady with the stupid poem and then some old guy".    :-)

The other day thread was like a yenta death watch at a hospital!  :-)

I have dumped two big neck bones, two big marrow bones and four good size sections of ox-tail into a stock cauldron and am in the process of making the worlds best vegitable beef with barley soup. Pepper Paws will probably get the smaller marrow bone to gnaw on and play with when it is done boiling out.

I have also played a ton with my puppy and avoided the televison and the radio today.  When the family comes home we are going to have a big winter meal of soup and biscuits, play with our new pack mate and maybe do some table games tonight.

What non political hi-jinks are ya'll up to today?

The usual...worked out already...might do a 5k tnight if I'm feeling antsy...schoolwork and cleaning...might play some board games with the kiddos

I'm making pesto pasta with chicken tnight for dinner...my daughter really loves this dish...I won't be eating any..way too fattening

I haven't had anything but kids shows on today so I haven't caught a glimpse of inaugural hijinx..I knew the barackstar wouldn't have ticked me off so much as his jeering and leering and classless psychophants(purposely mispelled :evillaugh:).

anyhoo, not much else going on in the world...still white outside...God apparently didn't get the memo that brown is the new white :-)

Anyway, I'm in a pretty good mood actually. Not much I can do from this vantage point. Not who I voted for and the other guy if he had won would not have satisfied me either. I just gotta hope and pray that God sees us thru it and perhaps a few young minds holding on to the 'i am change' crap grow up in the next few years and understand why what they were promised will never work. Because I can't effect change, I'll just enjoy life while I can.

I don't think I need to say that I exclude Mia from this assessment :-) I'm talking the chanters at the inaugural type of stuff.

Well, time to get dinner on peeps

Can't argue with that.  But who would have thought the people would elect the least qualified candidate in the history of the Republic?

I guess the grownups agree with you. The market closed 323 points down.  :bawl: Oh, well, the magic one will fix everything and lead us out of the darkness.

Soups on in a half hour.

Wife is working late and may actually be checking into a business hotel in town tomorrow night for a few days to do the 80 hours worth of performance evaluations she has to get done by Monday in addition to her regular work. :p

It's amazing how good you can make a frozen pizza with a little extra cheese and pepperoni on it.

Or maybe that's the beer talking.  Hard to say.

My school schedule plan, silly.  LOL!  I register tomorrow at 12:30pm.  I'm shooting for this one Mon/Wed 8am and then Tue/Thurs 8-12pm.  I'm having to schedule all my classes around a 10-12 Tue/Thurs Accounting II class (it's the only time it's offered).  Heck, I have more classes written down just in case I can't get into one of my planned ones.

And I think I know what I'm going to take this summer too.  :)

I guess. I got drafted to walk a new shooter through the match. A young black guy. Just bought the gun and had never shot it. I spent most of my time coaching him and couldn't concentrate on my shooting. I must have did something right. He's coming back to shoot it again. Getting young, new shooters in the sport is a good thing.

I've already checked outside. Neither gumdrops nor lollipops on the ground........and to make matters worse, I'll bet that when I check the mail today there'll be bills in there. So much for CHANGE. I thought the Messiah was supposed to take care of these things. :whatever:
