I saw as I was watching foxnews tonight, they were putting up how much the Clintons stole  took from the WH when they left.  It was like 200,000 worth of "gifts".  Including a freaking chandelier.  I remembered that when I read it.

The Bush family is taking only a cabinet that belonged to his grandmother and their collection of books.  They are even leaving their personal china that they brought with them that is valued at $500,000.

They are leaving all other gifts that they received during his 8 year tenure.  Oh, and they used furniture from the White House storage to furnish while they were.  They didn't even buy new furniture.  I wonder if this new administration is going to be as frugal with our money.   Hmmm....

I read somewhere that they got some trendy Hollywood decorator to redecorate the White House. I can't wait (gag) to see the result-a stripper pole, wall-to-wall shag, mirrors on the ceiling, gilt finishes everywhere--the "People's House" will either look like a rapper's "crib" or a bordello, or at best the lobby of a better hotel. Well, maybe not the first two, but the last is a possibility. It will have art that looks like something JJ from "Good Times" painted it, and the Lincoln Bedroom will be renamed the "Jesse Jackson" bedroom.

36. You're very short-sighted.  Bush ISN'T leaving: every small plane crash, every car wreck, every chicken bone lodged in a throat, every case of severe diarreah, every ingrown hair, every airline terminal cleared out due to a knapsack left unattended, every house fire, and every bad mood will be attributed to the guy people can't wait to leave tomorrow.

The butthole can leave town and never be heard from again, but in the minds of many he will never be gone. Sad, pathetic, and a real opportunity for enterprising psychologists.

I have no special insight into Bush's mind, but I am guessing he can't wait to leave. His eight years in office were a constant strain, full of stress and worry. Who needs that kind of grief? He served eight years, but aged about 25. He handled it all with grace and class, so I will miss him. But I hope he enjoys his retirement. I hope he gets to sit on his front porch, or at his favorite fishing hole, surrounded by loving friends and family, and finally dies in his sleep at a good old age. The Lord bless him, because the country sure didn't.

The only ones I saw them complain about were those two border guards, but that's about it. Of course, they'll complain about anything. They'll even complain that there's nothing to complain about.

This past weekend and yesterday they were saying he would pardon preemptively himself and his entire administration for the so called "crimes" they always accused him of but couldn`t name.

President Bush is due to arrive at any moment in the new underground command post where he will declare Marshall law and rule the world.

....and the fence around DC should spring up any moment after that, entrapping the worst of the criminal moonbats and forming our biggest camp to date.

That is all until further notice.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948
