Who here is still a degenerate tobacco smoker?

Nevermind, screw all ya'll.
"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

You need to move to MN, a cigarette in 25 below will chase the urge away.   :-)

Your urges are still intact though, right?   :naughty:

That includes your girl Kath who already wrapped poor innocent me around her little finger.

I was heading to this, perhaps, in the Battle of the Sexes thread. (???)  :uhsure: (or not)

I'll suffer no bad talk of Schade's reputation.

But I just might pass out before a proper defense is made

Scade has some small proffs of that. Sadly I have shaved my beard recently to seek better employment.  :bawl:

(it was a nice cross between near-beard and too-much-beard at the time)

If you say that because you go outside to smoke.....here's what you do.

Cut off.....uh, .... -25 degree weather .....better make that, break off 2 long pieces of garden hose.....open window slightly....place hoses thru window......insert lite cigarette in one hose and suck on it....place thunb over the end while you blow smoke out the other.

Do matches strike in -25 degree weather?

I smoke a very dark, evil smelling roll-your-own tobacco called white OX. Unfiltered.

But I don't smoke.. I smolder.   :uhsure:

That is a nifty trick. Ima going to pass it on to my smoker friends since I quit smoking 18 years ago.

I quit when I became pregnant and never started up again. Before becoming pregnant, I couldn't quit for nothing.

My other half has been telling me he was going to quit for 15 years.

Dec 2007, he promised to quit in January.

He's still smoking.....

I haven't had a smoke since 12/16/08.

I feel pretty good about that.

The last time I quit, I made it about 11 months.

I hope to make it permanent this time.

I found myself gasping for air in my sleep back in November.  I didn't like that feeling.

So I decided to once again make an effort to stop smoking.  I'm doing good so far.

I hope to keep it that way.
