a question for "cooking experts"

This weekend I had an ackward situation because my brother married this wonderful wonderful woman and we visited them for the weekend. She is an excellent cook, and please I love cooks, but lordy she just went on and on. She made little hourderve stuff and then she had shrimp with this great sauce and that was before dinner even started.

We just stuffed ourselves during the game and everytime the Chargers dropped the ball or had it hit somebody's helmet instead of catching the damn thing she just pulls out another tray of finger food. I was worried that she would get angry at all the stuff we dropped on her brand new sofa.

So what's the problem?

She has the energy of hummingbird and can eat nonstop.

After the game we then had to sit down and eat a full 7 course dinner. Is she going to feed my brother to death? They got a big insurance policy so I am begining to wonder.

I always wanted to have a good friend or family member that was a good cook but now I can't figure out what to do.

Any good cooks have any suggestions on how to tone down her 'cookiness'?

1. Well done

Well, if that's all the sniffing primitive has to say, it doesn't help much in his efforts to make the Runners-Up for the Top 10 DUmmies of 2009.

4. This is a joke, right?

I mean, you say that you've always wanted a good cook in the family then you get one and now you want her to stop? Have you asked your brother how he feels about it?

Maybe her brother's the giant primitive, the 500-pound behemoth in Lost Vegas.

6. he likes it an everything and she has gotten him exercising a little bit more and he tells me they are humping like rabbits.

But over the long term I know he is going to gain back all the weight he lost before.

I dunno just uncomfortable with really good cooks and all their fancy terms and able to cook like 5 things at the same time. Couldn't she just act a little more staid and like regular?

8. give us a run-down of the menu...we need to see what sort of fare she offers to really give good advice, ya know.

personally, tell him if he can't pronunce it then he shouldn't eat it. i mean hors d'oeurves being served while watching the game is rather questionable- whatever happened to chips, dip, and some nasty beer?

The tambourine Bambi primitive, who's pretty old, doesn't get a "joke," but it's a pretty bad joke, not worth copying-and-pasting.

7. i find this fascinating..given that your brother has a really good insurance policy and a wife who likes to fatten him up, it may be wise for him to name you as the beneficiary. that way you can dine and cash in just in case she has another plan- sister-in-laws often have ulterior motives.

there is only one way to tone down her 'cookiness'. You have to slap her wrists with a ruler!

Root problem......there's a woman in the family that doesn't bring home cold Macky-dee or just open cans......makes the rest of the family women look like what they are..... modern lazy democrat women.

Sounds like DUmmie brother got a good one.

Something tells me the DUmbass is masking jealousy with fake concern.

So she was invited to her brother's house, and her SIL went all out, fixing appetizers and a big dinner.  Big deal.  The SIL was probably trying tobe a good/gracious hostess.  I know the OP would probably just throw a bag of cheetos and a pepsi at her guests, but not all people are DUmmies.

I second that.  When we visit relatives or have them visit us, there is usually a larger meal and snacks provided than for a standard "home alone" dinner.

Speaking of sniffa, last I heard he had dumped his wife in the middle of a nervous breakdown, and married the crackhead that was part of their threesome. Any new developments?

I only recently started paying attention to the sniffing primitive.

As far as I know, right as of this moment, the sniffing primitve's with the bi-boobs baby primitive.

See, I'm not familiar with many of the loungers on Skins's island.

What confuses me is that the bi-boobs baby primitive used to be hitched up with some really fat female primitive, in college, right?

This thread is just another attempt by the homo mafia to control the message at the DUmp.  Apparently yesterday, someone posted a question in the fag forum asking about the way to deal with flamboyantly acting homos in the office.  This got the manure-skewers all in a tizzy and they have been posting these little fake stories all over Skin's island.  I just happened to notice the growing tsunami of indignation and I've been watching it off and on ever since.  Of course, there may have been an instance when a well placed mole went to work to fan the flames of discontent.   :fuelfire:

Nah...unless there are pretend-gender pronouns in use, it sounds like the brother's hetero.  That'd exclude Super-Fatass, I believe.

Wonder if it ever occurred to grant that SIL doesn't cook this way everyday, but considered this a special occasion and went all out. You'd think he'd be pleased his brother is so happy, that she takes such good care of him, including urging him to exercise and having plenty of good sex (an excellent calorie burner in its own right). But no, he has to invent a conspiracy, turn a positive into a negative, be suspicious of another's happiness. Then again, if his brother stays this happy for too much longer, he might actually start believing he's capable of achieving anything and start voting Republican. Maybe he better check the SIL's background, she might be Rove's niece or something.

It actually funny. I remember them bitching about chain food restaurants and how they miss home-cooked meals. Now you have a case with a home-cooked meal and they're STILL bitching. Insanity.   :whatever:
