My sister in law sent me a couple of pictures....

of my brother (the one that died) and my youngest daughter (she will be 10 at the end of the month) on his wedding day.   :(

Oh, BEG!!!

What a handsome fellow he was!  He has character written all over his face. As well as an undercurrent of mischief.

My wife lost her brother and she still feels it after many many years.

You have all my hugs in the world.

And by sharing him here, you keep him alive in many hearts!

I never really felt like I looked like either of my brothers, especially my oldest brother.  In fact, I don't look like either of my parents.  I'm fairly tall coming from a mother who is 5'4" TOPS and a Dad who is 5'8" (I'm 5'7").  I often wondered (sometimes wished) I was the illegitimate child of the postman's.     

Now that you say you see the family resemblance I can see it in the eyes.

BEG, thanks so much for sharing those pictures. I really appreciate all the old time pics I have in the finished area of my basement. I have some of my antique furniture from the family there. It's very comforting seeing so many photos down there.

Seeing the pics is a way to almost have our loved ones back with us.
