I haven't been feeling well the last few days.  I'm very drained right now, I didn't even read the whole thread.  LOL

Poor MIA, what's wrong with you?   :(

On Monday I was just tired and then Tuesday apparently somehow in the evening I scratched the cornea on my left eye, and it hurt like a bitch.  My eye started weeping and oozing and was bright red.  I thought it could have been allergies, so I took some benadryl (but now a couple of days later, I think I just scratched my eye).

I had an exam yesterday morning, so I had to go to school and I went to work but left early.  I went home and watched like three episodes of Top Chef and took benadryl and knocked myself out.  Today I feel better, but you know, still just tired.

Plus, I hate wearing my glasses, well not hate, but I'd rather not and it'll be a couple more days before I'll put my contacts back in.

What does the eye doctor give you when you scratch your cornea?

Oh, I didn't go to the eye doctor.  I just knew it was either allergies or a scratch.  If it wasn't getting better by this morning, I was going to go to the doctor, and they just prescribe an antibiotic eye drop.  But, it feels much better today anyways.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Welcome!

THanks!  And I'm sorry about your eye.  That sucks.  I have been 1/2 blind since the 2nd grade.  I've had my fair share of eye issues.  I hope the miaeye is better.   :-*

Maybe we can start a CC support group for the half-blind.  I'm still looking for a smiley with sunglasses and a cane.

I hear you on the knee thing... I'd like to have mine fixed, but I'd have to spend another two months in one of those hip-to-ankle casts like last time.

Oh gads!  That must have been hell!  You should hear the lovely sound my knees make when I'm doing squats, step ups on the bench, walking up stairs, walking down stairs....etc. etc. etc.

I was seven.  It sucked.  I was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and it has mostly affected my legs.  My left leg ended up growing deformed because of it, and I had surgery to correct a mis-shapen ankle.  The knee still points inward at a 45° angle.
