Oh. Happy. Joy. One wouldn't expect this simply by looking out the window, where it's currently 10 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Guess I'll have to get my happy butt up and run my errands this morning. The younger cat has discovered the joys of plastic, specifically the shower curtain liner in the guest bathroom. Wally World will now get some of my hard-earned dollars.
On the bright side, I've done my taxes for the most part, now I just have to wait for my W-2 for it to be "official", or take a chance and e-file next Friday. I'm pretty sure I've got it correct, though. And while a big chunk of money back would have been nice, I'm just happy I'm not owing anything, nor did I give the government a interest-free loan for a year. Perhaps a beer to celebrate later would be in order.
