Oklahoma v Florida

Go Sooners!! ( I guess, lol)  :cheersmate:
"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

It's ass backwards. OU is getting their yardage on the ground and the Gators in the air.  :wtf2:

Yeah, that's strange. Good game though. Hell, I'm just happy it's a game at all and no one is winning by 40 yet. lol

I have to go with the Sooners.

Sentimental reasons.

What's the score?

7-7

....and, as you should. They're conference mates. I don't particularly like the Gators, although they're one of my least hated SEC teams, but I have to pull for my conference brethren. It strengthens the conference.

Tough game, though.

I remember one post on ESPN by a Seminole. The guy was talking to Sooner fans. He said, to paraphrase, "Look guys, I cannot STAND the Gators, but you are going to lose. I couldn't stand Tebow, but let me, as a Seminole fan, tell you, he is just that damn good".  :-)

From listening to the drivel from the game announcers talking about Tebow,  he can walk on water, then turn it into wine.   For a minute there I thought they had become confused and thought ooooobama was the quarterback.   :whatever:

Well, Hell, congratulations to Florida, but I'm going into mourning for a week or so.

It's all very sad, the way the traditional powers have sunk, allowing newbies to rise to the top.

It's the traditional powers'--Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Alabama, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Southern California, UCLA--own fault, of course.

But man, when I was born, if someone had told me that some day teams such as Penn State, Oregon, Miami, California, Washington, &c., &c., &c. would become powers, I wouldn't have believed it, thinking it something like Luxembourg dominating Europe.

My Sooners had opportunities around the goal-line and just flat-out didn't get it done. They could never get the TE read executed on the Trip Opt. Congrats to Florida on the win.
