1. I got it for the first time today and it wouldn't have been so bad but the ****er takes forever to load.

Maybe I need to save my password so it doesn't show up when I click onto the site.

2. Yeah, this site is going crazy with ads.

Lots and lots of ads...when you open a thread, you get hung up waiting for an ad to load and then you go directly to that ad. I have never seen so many ads. I know that if I donate, I won't see them. And I plan to donate just as soon as the marginalization of those who want to speak re: Israel/Palestin (which, by the way, is a huge world-wide story and worthy of local comment and discussion) is stopped.

Get one of the DU photography contest calendars Skinner has pinned to the top of the thread stack. Looks pretty awesome, and buying DU merchandise gets you the all-powerful ****-off-ad-bots little yellow star.

If donating can't happen, which is entirely probable due to these sunny economic seas we're sailing through, I suggest several swift blows to the head as an alternative. Kinda the same sensation those ads cause, but at least the ads go away once you lose consciousness

I dunno.  We know Internet Explorer's blue, because it's owned by the blue Microsoft.

Maybe Firefox, and whoever owns it, is red, and the primitives can't have that.

How DARE Skinner inconvenience the dummies with ads containing smileys that speak to them?  I guess they believe that websites just fall from the sky for them to use without being inconvenienced and without cost to someone.
