I was visiting with my dad, and Rush Limbough's name came up.

No, Dad doesn't listen to RL for political info, but to see what lies or offenses he comes up with next.

Dad commented that Rush's ex-wives haven't ever said anything, and Rush likes to claim that liberals are bad parents. Then I remembered that two or all three of his wives had kids from previous relationships. Then it occured to me that the divorces were about the children: Rush couldn't take a chance that any of them would talk about what he is really like. So, the marriages are dispatched when the kids wise up and start talking about what they know about him.

Does it sound plausible?

Well, it's not quite plausible that the old man listens to Rush Limbaugh just to see what "lies" the most-popular host on talk-radio tells.

I detect that's something of a stretchy.

First up is the babbling sister primitive, the one who thinks "darky" and "pickaninny" toys are "cute":

Please excuse my language at a time like New Year's Eve, but I'm a native Missourian (via President Lincoln), a Mayflower descendant, a daughter of the American Revolution...and I don't give one damned whit as to what Rush Limbaugh thinks or does. He is an ignorant charlatan who has made millions off of dividing the people of this country. He makes me want to vomit.

She plays Chloe in 24, and has been in a slew of movies as a supporting actress.

It was a very brief relationship -- after which, Rajskub promptly stopped being a RW pin-up girl and disavowed all politics.

Amazing how one man with an opinion radio program can cause so much bitterness and hatred.

Do we ever create threads here about the personalities on AAR and how we want them off the air and thrown into prison?  No.  They're idiots.  We could care less what they do.

DUmmies simply can't handle anyone who disagrees with them.  As CC's own Carl has been correctly pointing out lately, they are indeed the fascists they accuse others of being, and are openly admitting to being that way by what they say.

Part of it also is Rush is very successful and Liberals only embrace failures, like Jimmy Carter and that guy who's stealing the election in MN who only had a successful book because he put Limbaugh's name on the cover.

They can't handle hearing the truth. It burns them like a hot coal, and they want it to stop. So what if that means violation of someone's first amendment rights.

Many of them are openly admitting to being hard line socialists and far-leftists; the slide from their position into full blown fascism isn't all that long or steep.
