I don't remember Captain N but my two favorite cartoons from the 1990's were The Tick and Phantom 2040.
 :jacked2:  :-)

Both great -- and I miss The Phantom on Adult Swim.

The live action version of The Tick was an abomination.

Loved her final line. Humor , but too true, and it made Harry look as if he has lemon in his mouth.

Caught her on H&C -- she's tought and smart.  Too bad she got caught up on the wrong side of the whole evolution thing.  I lost a lot of respect for her on that.

Actually, that was a good interview.... well, on Ann's side. You can see Harry Smith trying to hide his seething anger while he's talking to her.

LOL! He could barely stand to look at her. Love the way she doesn't back down. Go Ann!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Meanwhile, she's laughing all the way to the bank.

NBC just added maybe a couple hundred thousand sold books to her coffers.

Exactly! My birthday may just come a little bit early this year!!

This is really what I needed right about now...Ann Coulter, the perfect pick-me-up, while I'm in a political slump.

I think one of the things that infuriates the left is that not only is she smarter than all the Libtards in the MSM...she consistantly comes on their silly little shows and proves it.

Good point. They sure as hell don't want her on their show slamming the Big Zero, as they know that she will be able to do it most succinctly.

In another couple months they won't need to be the bad guys in banning her.

They will just blame the new 'fairness doctrine' which seems to be comming at use ever faster.

Okay...this is troublesome.  In her book she states "children of divorce, or as I call them, future strippers" :mental:

That was over the top, even for her. :hammer: What's with the women hatred?  What about the men who left?  And not all single mother's are unemployed drug addicts.

She just lost me as a supporter.

It's hard for me to take her seriously when her No. #1 priority is to sell books.

Ann Coulter is a very bright entertainer. Her job is to be titillating and outrageous, even egregious. She is there to provoke a reaction, whether positive or negative.

Making inflammatory comments to piss people off is her job. And she gets paid well for that work.

That probably doesn't make her vitriol any easier to swallow, but that's how I see it. Ann laughs all the way to the bank, though I truly believe that she believes in essence what she says.

I always thought her number one priority was to piss off liberals, and selling books was just a happy by-product for her.  :rotf:

I see her as being a very astute businesswoman. She happens to be good at what she does, so she makes a pile of money doing it. But I see her main priority as not pissing off liberals nearly as much as making money.

Let's face it - you can't eat a liberal for dinner. Can  you?

If you want to read authors that blow smoke up your backside read  something by John Gray or Dear Abby.
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Yeah, but once you clean the shit out of them, you'd be lucky to have more than an appetizer.

There is always a wink and a nod in Ann's work.

She's simply mirroring back liberal behavior if you think about it. I think she knows darn good and well what she's doing. She can be over the top in my opinion but I have to admit, she's usually on the money more often than not.

Ann Coulter is part entertainer. She is like Rush Limbaugh that way. Neither one of 'em is William F. Buckley, but they don't pretend to be. You can learn from them, but don't take either of them more seriously than they deserve.  :whatever:

No, she's very, very bright. And a lawyer. Oh wait! Isn't that mutually exclusive???  :-)
