I am 42 and just had my first experience with a bail bondsman. Hubbys best friend pulled a stupid
   Advertisements [?]

we spent the night at the Hyatt in Wichita

they had an enormous buffet dinner

champagne toast at Midnight

the band BIG FAT FUN played. They are a cover band, but they did everything from Mustang Sally to Crazy Bitch

they had a balloon drop at midnight and then everyone was popping them on the dance floor and it sounded like hundreds of fireworks.

Best of all, Hubby and I had a great night re-connecting with each other from this crazy world.

We had a breakfast buffet this morning and I swear I ate 1 lb of bacon myself

we were not supposed to check out until 2 PM and had planned to get back in the hot tub before leaving

AND THEN>>>>>>>>>>>>>

at 10:30 AM our daughter calls us frantic

Hubbys best friend ( our current basement dweller)

had an expired tag and not known to us failed to appear on a summons so

he got stopped on his way home from work and they ran his tag...BUSTED

so we got to spend 2 hours at the SG county jail and I had my first experience with a bail bondswoman

WOW

She just had to come with some reason to post about her expensive evening. :whatever:

Only a couple at the fire yet but I detect some skepticism.

Never know if this is a bouncy or a stretchy ...

Assuming for a second their basement dweller really exists, there's a good chance they were picked up for other outstanding warrants.

I lean to the side, that there IS no basement dweller and she only posted this to brag about her expensive new years eve outing.

Yeah, what cover band doesn't do Mustang Sally?  That song needs to be burned at the stake.

Bondswoman is sexist.  They should be called Bondpersons.

Given that the title said one thing but almost the entire post was on her evening and very little to do with the supposed subject of the thread I would guess it never happened.

The town that pays her to teach its children.  Man, this woman is ungrateful.  I guess they should just go broke to keep her in a job.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

How stiff could the bond for expired tags & a FTA be , a couple hundred bucks maybe. Hardly worth the need of a bailbonds services. No wonder dummies are always broke.
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Here in Colorado, FTA is a $500 warrant, about as low as they'll go.

For $500 still would have to be in dire straits to need a bailbondsman. I realize some folks are in that position but those folks would more than likely sit n cool their heels for a couple days until they get kicked loose.

More and more she reminds me of TiT. She spends a lot of time posting silly crap so she can brag about the super (expensive) things she does. One does wonder how she's able to do such fabulous things in this lousy Bush economy on a lowly teacher's salary but whatever. Next week she'll be back to complaining about hubby's drinking and abuse. That will probably last until cruise season.

She pretty much failed the stimulus check when she bitched and moaned about her husband trying to schedule some romance with her. :)
