I quit smoking. 30 years of a two pack a day habit. :innocent:
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Congrats on your anniversary!  You should figure out how much money it has saved you over the past 10 years!

...and how much you didn't pay in taxes.   :-)

What savings. Most smoke quiters, myself included, just switch to a different habbit. Sure there might be some savings but would be hard to calculate to any reasonable certainty.
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Quitting is on my "To Do" list.  I'm gonna try to quit again in the next few weeks.  :)

Both my wife and I used Zyban. Worked the 1st time for both of us.

The money I saved on cigarettes, I used on my divorce lawyer. :hammer:

I used Chantix the last time I tried to quit for good.  It did work well, I immediately stopped but nausea side-effect got me big time.  I was doing okay, until a very stressful event happened a few months later, then I picked up again.  The Chantix isn't covered by my insurance though, so it's a bit out of my price range.

Zyban is a renamed Wellbutrin, which may be covered.

Congrats, Tucker. Quitting smoking is one of the hardest things ya can do. Personally, I plan on trying to quit again by tomorrow.. I got a couple of books to help me out, but I may look into that Chantix stuff and see if it helps.

I've been smoking 15 years almost so... it's gonna be tough, but at least I'd be saving 50 bucks a week and be able to play football with my nephews without getting winded after 20 minutes.
