BTW, now's the time to start tipping your admins. Didn't know if you knew that or now.  :uhsure:   :evillaugh:

I've fallen on this 295 and I can't get up. Maybe I need that life thing.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

it's hard to smash something that comes in pieces to begin with, but something very close to that has happened before. :-)

I'm not surprised.

the lounge is psychic tonight.  did you know that airplane glue is very flammable?  I really didn't realize just how flammable . . .  :thatsright:

Now I'm really not surprised.

free tidbit of advice;  when something with glue on it is flaming away, don't stomp on it to put it out.  first of all, it doesn't put the fire out.  second, it sticks to your shoe. :fuelfire: :rotf:

Have you ever burned a Q-tip?  The kind that have the blue plastic stick.  It makes sparks when it melts.  Also note, do not hold a plastic q-tip while you burn it and then more importantly don't move your hand and shake the melting plastic on your hand.  It hurts.   :thatsright:

  If I want sparkles, I'll buy some fireworks.  There are plenty of "south of the border" fireworks stores around here.

Damnit, I thought I deleted my embarrassing story fast enough.

I still have a scar on my thumb from that stupid q-tip.  I had a lot of male friends when I was in middle school, we used to burn a lot of stuff.

Burning stuff is about all there is to do in middle school.  When I was in the fifth grade, the neighborhood kids set fire to a nice spot of trees.  The parents noticed it and put out the fire with brooms and a fire extinguisher.  Today, there is a beautiful soft clearing in that area.

I had no idea what was happening but my parents have been suspicious ever since then.  Not that they ever liked that family that lived across the street.

I should have been banned from TOS a lot of times the last few days there, but I wasn't. I removed my membership just before they redid everything there. BTW, does ANYBODY still go there?

But nice to see CC still going strong after a year. WOOT!  :bday:

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

I wondered who made the first post, but just automatically assumed it had to be Rebel, who was the first one here, and had to ignition the thing, to get it going.

I tried the whole "not calling back" thing but it kept following me around the halls and bugging me in front of my friends so I figured, what the heck. :-)
