So my dad is home for Christmas and I wish he would have stayed in SC. He has been here a few days and wanted to take me to a strip club. I can't believe he would want to take someone there as a Christmas gift. When I told him no he asked me if I was some kind of fag and I told him no (god I hate to lie). I am afraid to tell him I am gay because one time he told me and my sister if we "became gay" or dated a black person he would kill them. Why did he have to come for Christmas.

On edit:I am not going.

I wish my dad was still around to do something like. Hey DUmmie, maybe your dad wants to spend some time alone with his son.  Maybe he already suspects that your gay?

I kinda doubt this really happened but if it did, I agree with the guy that it is ... (yuck).

Maybe I'm just an old prude, but I certainly don't want my dh inviting my son (when my son is of age) to strip club for Christmas.   I think porn, strip clubs, etc are all pretty yucky and inappropriate whether they are heterosexual or homosexual.

I'm with you there, but this is after all an old, old, old gesture, done throughout all of history, when fathers have been worried their sons were too timid about things sexual.

I don't condone it, but it's been done since time immemorial.

However, it sounds to me the stuttering primitive creatively wrote this to get back at his old man for some reason; maybe dad didn't give him all he wanted for Christmas, and so the stuttering primitive's all upset and bent out of shape.

Primitives do things like that.

Dad's been gone about 14 years now, and he was a first-class character. with a few shortcomings in the Ward Cleaver Fatherhood department I have to say.
But, if he was around and asked me that, I would only want to know if they had beer at the club.  Of course I wouldn't need to actually ask, since if my Dad was going to go there at all, it'd damn-sure be to a place serving beer.

I am so grossed out it is unreal.  Then again maybe Dad realized his son was a fruitloop the second he walked in to his apartment and saw the shrine to Judy Garland on the living room wall.
