A retired teacher has written a book encouraging parents to leave their children in public schools, rather than sending them to private and religious institutions.

The title of Dennis Ray's book is The Stakes Are High: God's Wisdom for Our Public Schools. He tells OneNewsNow that the atmosphere has changed for students, teachers, and society, and that may leave some educators in a quandary. He wrote the book from personal experience.

"(In the book I deal with) a lot of frustrations with lack of support in different areas, and what I could and could not do; and I just thought that there was a need to communicate to parents and community members and so on that these kids have different needs now and we're just not addressing them with the kind of worldly system of education we have," he explains.

Ray contends Christians should not leave the schools but that Christianity should be taken back into the schools. "Well, as a first step, I think we need to get the Bible back in school," he points out. "I think it could be used in curricular areas. It could be simply a matter of studying the literature and the history and the artwork connected to the Bible."

The book stresses that separation of church and state is not found in the Constitution, so Christians should stand firmly for their rights. Ray also suggests the Bible is a prime source for teaching character, but he believes Bible instruction and character-building ought to be initiated in the home.

stacking the school board for years. That is how this has even become a subject for discussion....and why there is even a controversy about teaching creationism in public schools!!! They started this attack a long time ago, when no one was really watching what they were doing. They are starting their own colleges and law schools, and medical schools...They have infiltrated the government. If people think we have to worry about FOREIGN agents undermining our government, they should take a long, hard look at what these home grown nutjobs are trying to do to our country and its Constitution and Bill of Rights!!  
Oh, NOES!!!  Christians in GOVERNMENT!!!  Horrors!!!

Actually, the Jihad is against Christianity.  Anyone who doesn't see that is a fool and too foolish to be taken seriously.

Anyone who has grown up in the USA knows that our common thread of Christianity is what has kept us whole.  All of our problems began when the minions of satan (liberals) made headway in their attempts to blow apart that common thread.

Liberalism is a mental disease, yes, but it is fostered by satan himself. 

We now have a deep-closeted homosexual liberal mental case about to be sworn in as President.  This will not bode well.
