If you had money to spend this season, what would you buy?

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x4710184

Now, given the attitude about what people with spare cash should do with it over at the DU is ;you'd expect them all to be handing it out to the poor people, right ?

Out of 53 responses so far the only person that hasn't found an excuse to spend it on them self , or find an excuse to delay until after Christmas :

6. I buy clothes and shoes and toys for Iraqi and Aghani kids

I send them to soldiers who hand them out

Now if only the rest of the DUmmies could be like you Skittles.

Instead , bravo DU , for again demonstrating that you are incapable of putting your money where your mouth is.

The primitives, as usual, never fail to disappoint.

Somewhere here I have a piece about how the primitives should be judged by standards the primitives they themselves set.....and that the primitives should be taken to task when they fail to meet those standards the primitives they themselves set.

The primitives allege they are less materialistic than decent and civilized people.

We're supposed to be the greedy ones, they're supposed to be the "sharing" ones.

Remember, that's a standard the primitives they themselves set.

I can't recall a single instance of the primitives coming within three planets of meeting their own standards.

I think it is why they hate each other on the island the way they do.

To the public they try to present themselves as loving, altruistic people that would happily sacrifice all they had for someone elses betterment.

Then they go back home to the island and all the masks are thrown off and they show themselves to be bitter, greedy souls that would throw their own mom out in the snowbank to gain a better seat at the table.
The trouble they have is they know the primitive they are looking at acrossed the bonfire would too and has just as much disregard for them as they do for it.

So they wander the island with one eye looking forward to see who is in their way and one eye looking backward to see who is trying to run them over.

Miserable life an ugly heart has to live but it is their choosing so efff them.

I know of a couple of companies whose stock has gone from around $50 a share a year or so ago down to 50 cent a share now. I'm thinking about gambling a little and buying "the boy" a $1,000 worth for a long term thing.......... :-) It won't ever make him an evil rich bastard but it might get him 40 acres and a mule someday...... :-)

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

That's what the primitives don't understand, when they comment about how much they're "watched."

It's a public service P-J Comix's DUmmie FUnnies, our old home, and the DUmpster and the DUmping Ground are providing here, for both the primitives and the general public.

A public service, free to all.

One could call it "quality checking."

It's checking to see if the primitives meet their own standards.

We don't set the standards for the primitives; the primitives do.

And then we merely test, to see if the primitives are up to their own standards.

It's not our fault they always fail.

21. I can see living there very well

I always hated coming home from France or Switzerland, back in the days when I had a decent income! Most or Europe has a far higher standard of living (quality of life) than we do.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Having watched this primitive over the years, the only reason she would want to buy things for Iraqi and Aghani kids would be that it would give her to opportunity TO SHOUT AT THEM!!!!

.
Because third world peasant labor is a good thing.

She'd probably condemn the Iraqi and Afghani kids for "turning capitalist" and "becoming Americanized."  Just before being beaten to a pulp by said children's parents.
