McIntyre, 21, of the Midland area - and his alleged accomplice and 'girlfriend,' Tanya Dawn (Salesman) Finley of Linton have more in common than the possibility of facing long prison sentences. They are now man and wife.According to marriage records at the Greene County Clerk's office, McIntyre and Finley were married in a civil ceremony at the courthouse on Dec. 2.The groom wore his black-and-white striped jail uniform for the ceremony, and the witnesses for the nuptials were guards from the sheriff's department, as well as deputy clerks at the courthouse, according to Sheriff Terry Pierce."We do not dress them," he said. "He went wearing his jail-issued stripes."McIntyre, who has two prosthetic legs, has pleaded guilty to the Class B felony of robbing the Linton Main Source bank downtown on Sept. 10.In the late morning hours that day, McIntyre went into the branch brandishing a long gun and demanding money from a teller. He was caught by Linton police about 10 hours after the robbery.
A woman woke in the middle of the night to find her husband missing from their bed. In the stillness of the house, she could hear a muffled sound downstairs. She went downstairs and looked around, still not finding her husband.Listening again, she could definitely hear moaning. She went down to the basement where she finally found her husband crouched in the corner facing the wall, sobbing.“What’s wrong with you?†she asked him.“Remember when your father caught us having sex when you were sixteen?†he replied. “And remember he said I had two choices: I could either marry you, or spend the next twenty years in prison.â€Baffled, she said, “Yes, I remember, so what?â€The husband sobbed, “I would have gotten out today.â€
when people ask how long i was married I just say "well....if i had killed him when I met him, I woulda been out of jail by now"
