I was sitting at a bar watching college football with a couple of old college friends a few years ago. We'll call them Mark & "Hillbilly". "Hillbilly" was from South Carolina, and sounded just like his nickname implies. For whatever reason, the audio wasn't on the football, but the jukebox.
Some song came on the jukebox, and Hillbilly just blurts out "I love Stevie Nicks". Mark and I look at each other sort of incredulously, but don't say anything right away. Finally, Mark says, "you know, Hillbilly, that's not a Stevie Nicks song. And it's a man singing, not a woman!" I think the actual group was Crosby Stills & Nash or something like that.
Hillbilly's face got a little red, and then he sort of sheepishly said "I was just sayin' that I love Stevie Nicks".
