7. I apologize if I sound a little grumpy. 

I am not picking on you. And I know that guilt-tripping people is probably not the best way to deal with this. But it is very disheartening to see how little enthusiasm seems to have been generated by an extremely generous challenge from a fellow member of this community. I know that many people can't afford to donate to charity right now. But recommending a thread is free.

10. You need an "other' selection in your poll.

Seems like right now it is WAY more important to slam Obama for some slight or another. Might be nice if the circular firing squad could at least wait to form up until AFTER he takes office...

I dunno. When did DU become about bashing Dems and celebrating the death of anyone rather than talking about how to help and how to make it better out there? How did it get to be this way?

Yeah, DUmmies. Travel arrangements take several weeks to plan in advance and travel agents, and airlines, don't book packages on "good faith".

From what I have been able to determine, $kinner is a free-market capitalist and doesn't even believe in what his site stands for.  But as long as it pays the bills and keeps him in booze, he is good with it.

I wouldn't have the patience to deal with the primitives for three times the money my fellow alum is paid.  Or even five.

My fellow alum has two sons now.

A second one was born earlier this year.

It's all good; I'm sure that after the 0bamareich's done and over with, the offspring will be Republicans; it's human nature for children to rebel.

I think sometime in January.

My fellow alum has a lousy sense of timing.

There's no rule that fund-raisers HAVE to be held at specified times, and there's much to be said for being opportunistic about them.

January is right after the materialistic primitives have spent all their money, maxed out all their credit cards; it's lousy for fund-raising.

Ditto for December, when everybody and his uncle is asking for money.

If I were Skins, I would schedule the biggest fund-raiser for about that time income-tax refunds get mailed out.
