I'm sick of hearing "It's only a two minute prayer"
First of all, this is precicesly what the Mcclurkin defenders said. "It's only a song! He'll be off the stage in two minutes!" We know how that turned out. Besides, seriously consider if James Dobson or Pat Robertson had been pegged to do this "two minute prayer." Would it still be no big deal?

The man is anti-abortion, and harbors a host of other beliefs that are anti-Dem / anti-progressive.
But the way things are around here, the ONLY people in the world who MATTER are GAYS AND LESBIANS!

Quit being so ****ing selfish--we aren't the only people who matter. There are people wondering where their next paycheck and MEAL are coming from. If we can't have the maturity and COMPASSION to wait to be married, until people are fed, clothed, and working, that doesn't say a hell of a lot about us.
Marriage isn't a "basic right". FOOD AND SHELTER IS.
