U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates issued a warning to opponents of the United States on Saturday against trying to take advantage of the early months of the new Washington administration to "test" U.S. resolve.

Gates also said the United States would remain deeply involved in efforts to achieve stability in the Middle East and the Gulf under incoming president Barack Obama's administration.
Blah, blah, blah  Basically it just warns evil doers of the world not to test Obama, cause we're America and stuff. Ya hear?!
Hmmm. Not impressed.

Don't test him because he's not ready???

What a rather bizarre statement. I don't understand why he would say that because those kinds of admonishments have worked so well in the past.

Sounds like a petulant child.  "Don't be mean to me or I will, I will, I will....... Well I don't know what I will do but it will be baaaaaaad!"

I expect the response would be something like this....
1. Al Qaeda nukes a city in the U.S.
2. Obama (if he is still alive and not smoldering charcoal at the time) runs to the U.N. for sanctions.
3. Al Qaeda nukes another city.
4. Biden shakes his angry fists at them.
5. The U.N. decides to have a meeting about the situation but can't for about 6 months.
6. Bin Laden tap dances at the Lincoln Memorial.
7. The United States of Red Country erects a wall to keep the liberals out and under command of the religion of peace.
8. The allied forces of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and the NRA take back the country after the riff raff is taken care of.
9. President Rick Santorum prays at the foot of Lincoln asking God for forgiveness for some people being so stupid, scrubs down D.C. and reunites the rest of the country.
10. Walmart celebrates by giving free ammo with every purchase for a year!
