What In The Living Horseshit Has Gone Wrong With Americans?

There was a time when if a spy was found in our midst we would hang the filthy bastard from the nearest tree.

Now we nod in agreement when our Government tells is it is OK to spy on every single aspect of our lives. Has every god damned one of us become a drooling complacent dolt?. Where in hell did we go so wrong as to become this ****ing heard of sheep that we now are. Where is the outrage.

I suspect the lilliputian tom thumb primitive, who uses a child's booster-seat to see over the dashboard of his great big gas-guzzling pick-up truck, hadn't gotten done digesting his daily pharmaceuticals when writing this.

Anyway.

1. The Manufacture of Consent by Noam Chomsky describes this in great detail. When you make a people scared enough, they end up giving up their own rights for the illusion of security and comfort.

Damn.

The paternally skeletal primitive has got to keep on thinking about what he just said, thinking a little further along.

The problem with the primitives is that they think only to a desired conclusion, and then stop thinking, period.

2. Mega-churches are breeding sheep faster than ever

That - and an addiction to endlessly stupid TV programming. We can thank the Republican party for the generational *Me first* drones they've set loose on the country.

This country is f*cked.

3. "9-11, 9-11, 9-11", to quote Rudy. It was that wonderful chance to drive fear into the hearts of the overly protected Americans. Didn't you know that Americans are special and should never have to suffer through a war being fought in their towns and cities? That with all those nukes and the world's most expensive army, no one could ever harm us? That we should never have to pay for our foreign policy?

9-11 allowed Bush/Cheney and the neo-cons to take over and turn America in the nation of lily-livered cowards we have today. Americans now have no spines.

Well, I suppose it's eminently reasonable for Americans to not endure warfare in our own towns and cities.

4. I am not joking when I suggest that perhaps some sort of environmental element is making Americans stupid, i.e. lead, heavy metals. That is about the only thing that I can think of that explains their stupid political decisions over the past few decades.

I don't think it's heavy metals corroding the American mind.

I think it's all those pharmaceuticals primitives take, that's corroding their minds.

And when one has less than others, one should take better care of what one has.

Liberalism and socialism is nothing but fear.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
