Cardinals win division, hell freezes over
« on: December 07, 2008, 06:26:47 PM »
As a Phoenix native, I'll always remember them as the mediocre Phoenix Cardinals. It took them only 33 years to make it to the playoffs again, but gosh darn it, they did it.

Who knew there would be teams that would suck harder than the Cards? I didn't think it was possible!  :lmao:

Well, your division was rather weak, but congrats anyway! :-)

And don't forget, the Cardinals did make the playoffs in 1998, and you even beat the Cowboys in the playoffs that year before falling to the Vikings.

And Bob Costas just got it wrong on NBC, he said that the Cards hadn't been to the playoffs since 1975.  It has actually been since 1975 since the Cardinals won their division. :banghead: :banghead:
