You Are 84% Likely to Survive Another Great Depression

You have been saving for a rainy day... or a rainy few years.
While most people may not have as grim of an outlook as you, they're also not as prepared as you.

If society collapses, you'll have plenty of food and resources for you and your loved ones.
And plenty of ammo for anyone who wants to steal from your stockpile!

I don't see why they place so much emphasis on having  savings. I get a retirement & a disability check for the rest of my life. Of course, if the .gov has no money, it might become a problem.

If you've got a good amount of savings, after the gub'mint has thoroughly trashed the value of the dollar, you can use it as chaffe to distract the mobs with, while you re-load to protect what you really have left to survive on.

I call bullshit! The one thing they don't ask is if you are readily able and have a place to HUNT!

You can get many things out of the woods! Not just game but everything from medicinal to vegetable, including heat. That in itself would put me at 90%!

Actually, I would like nothing better than to have to go out into the woods every day for my existence.  :-)

It's a good way to cull the weak ones out of the friggin' herd, that's for sure.

The healthy can acquire and survive on portions of venison (or turkey, duck, goose, pheasant, grouse etc...) - with or without gub'mint approval - while the weak are incompetently trying to catch rats and eating meager portions or sawdust bread in the cities.

Ain't much I can appreciate about Darwin, but that whole "survival of the fittest" thing is something to behold sometimes.

Personally, I think we're a little overdue for a little Social Darwinism. I think it's time that the weak ones, DUmmies, were culled from the herd. They're just dragging the rest of us down with them. Fortunately, I don't associate with DUmmies, so I won't have any showing up at my place with their hands out if things go bad. Those that do will be strangers, so they'll be shot as potential looters.
Never demand that which you are incapable of taking by force, DUmmie.

Yup.  Nothing like a load of 00 buck to the face in the morning.

Or a .45ACP JHP that could ruin one's day. Between my girlfriend & I, we got it licked. She's way into natural remedies and knows what stuff from the woods/ nature are good. Me, I'm a good shot. We both can cook, from scratch. We don't have a bunch of libtards that we hang with, either, so, if someone's (a stranger) coming up to the door, they'll be staring down the barrel of a gun until their motives are ascertained.

You Are 71% Likely to Survive Another Great Depression

Even though you may not be expecting the worst, you're the type of person who prepares for the worst.
You live a relatively modest life. You don't overspend, and you aren't very materialistic.

You are also quite self sufficient and independent. You have many useful skills.
You can take care of yourself and those you love... which is crucial to surviving another Great Depression.

My cost of living is very low, I don't have a huge house or anything, but what I have is perfect for one or two people.

And I have a gate....with a guard...he will keep the bad guys out...as long as he stays awake!!

Could You Survive Another Great Depression?

That's where I came in as well.  The fact that there isn't exactly urban light rail transit available from my home to my workplace probably pulled it down a bit, where I live driving yourself to work is the one and only option.

Looks like it will be pretty much business as usual at CC during the depression with so many of us surviving.

I see you aren't real familiar with the Lake Texoma region. I doubt there is a plastic surgeon within a 50-mile radius thataway.

Texoma Medical Center is a pretty renowned place here in North Texas/ Southern Oklahoma. It's about three miles from the house. I DO live in the country, about half a mile from the Red River and the Lake.
