RED FLAG WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORT WORTH TX
241 PM CST MON DEC 1 2008

...A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT TUESDAY FROM 11 AM UNTIL 6 PM FOR
ALL OF NORTH TEXAS...

.SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL RETURN TO NORTH TEXAS TONIGHT AND INCREASE
QUICKLY ON TUESDAY. WIND SPEEDS WILL RANGE FROM 15 TO 25 MPH WITH
GUSTS TO 35 MPH FROM LATE MORNING TUESDAY THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.
RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL ALSO FALL BELOW 30 PERCENT ON TUESDAY.
THE WINDY AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL CREATE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS ACROSS ALL OF NORTH TEXAS.

IOW, it's December in north Texas. 

At least the ingredients aren't there for a repeat of 2006.

At least the ingredients aren't there for a repeat of 2006.

But it does add up to 1984 when my sister's home was severly damaged by a December tornado in Mesquite, Tx.
