Staffers make decorations out of droppings from the zoo's two reindeer, Ealu and Rika. The droppings are dried, then clear-coated and either painted or rolled in glitter.
Zoo marketing director Susie Ohley has named the products "magical reindeer gem ornaments," and each comes with a label of authenticity. They cost $5 at the zoo gift shop.

Why isn't Mike Rowe of Discovery Channel's Dirty Jobs involved with this?

Making silk purses out of reindeer shit seems right up his alley..... :popcorn:

Yeah, I can see Adam gettin' het up about that.

Thing is, they've got a thing on the Discovery Channel about the word "fart." They wouldn't permit it. Those guys - Adam included - had to use the word "flattis."

And then they got together to light farts.
